I was born in Nicosia in 1947 and since 1973 I live and work in Larnaca. I studied Fine Art at Ealing Technical College and School of Art and at the Central School of Art and Design of London University. I obtained BA in Fine Art and the Diploma in Art Education from the Institute of Education of London University. I was an art teacher in secondary schools since 1971 and a head mistress since 2000 -2007.I have 9 solo exhibitions and have participated in numerous group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad, Athens, London, Belgrade, former Eastern Republic of Germany and Kwveit representing Cyprus. My work was awarded since I was a student and in the first years of my career, obtaining an award fromQueen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom and the “Silver Nightingale” in Platres Cyprus. My work is found in Public Galleries in Nicosia and Larnaca and in private collections.
Apart from painting I work with sculpture, stage scenery and costume design and writing theatrical plays. My play “Evagoras” (The last four years) obtained an award in 1999 from the Council of Historical Memory of the Cyprus struggle 1955-59. My theatrical play “Silia” was put up by “SCALA” a professional theatrical group in Larnaca in January 2011. I was responsible of the stage scenery and costumes of some plays by “SCALA” theatre such as “My friend Lefterakis” in 2012 , “Playing Doctor” in 2013 and "I don't pay" in 2014. I have my own gallery named “Topaz Gallery” in Larnaca where I permanently exhibit my work.
